DJ KORNBRED:

Fashitsho Tha Show. The podcast starts now with DJ Kornbread, aka the Empress. Hey, hey man, it's Big X Tha Plug, I'm the big man. This is the largest fashion show the podcast. This is my favorite. Look at how this princess is sexy, red, in the mix with celebrity DJ Kornbread. What's up, y'all, it's your girl. Dj Kornbread, aka the Empress, back with another one Super Bowl. Oh my God, shout out to the Eagles. They won this one. The Chiefs, y'all been taking it. They had to give it to the Eagles this time. And, oh my God, we own this.

DJ KORNBRED:

Kendrick Lamar halftime show Was bomb. I don't hear what nobody say. He did his thing. He did his thing. He did his thing. I'm talking about hey Drake. That's all I got to say. Hey Drake, with the cheesing, with the smell, he was on it, he was on it. I don't care what nobody say, it's a big issue on it. Like everybody on social media, they have their oh, I liked it, I didn't like it, it was trash, it was this, it was that. I think he did a good job. I think he did a great job because if you actually look at the show and look at the performances and look at exactly how he had everything set up and things like that.

DJ KORNBRED:

I'm telling you genius. That boy is a genius Like you cannot make this up Like. He is a genius like you cannot make this up. Like. He is a genius like if you listen, even from the beginning, just, you can't fake influence. 40 acres and a mule I'm talking about. He was speaking facts like I don't know if it's just like. If you were not black, like you wouldn't understand.

DJ KORNBRED:

But I'm not even gonna say that because I got some people on my TikTok that some creators and stuff like some influencers, and they even understand it. They even going hard. They going hard. They just like how don't you know? How don't y'all understand this? How don't you know what's going on? What do you mean? You don't know why this, that, why he said this, that, what do you mean? Like nobody understands. Nobody understands. And Kendrick Lamar, he understands. That's he the GOAT. I don't care what nobody understands, nobody understands. And Kendrick Lamar, he understands. That's you to go. I don't care what nobody say Talking about Drake to go. I love Drake too, though. I like Drake, I like Drake. Yeah, I ain't gonna say I don't fuck with Drake, I like Drake.

DJ KORNBRED:

But I'm just saying like this is bigger than music and it is, honestly, it's bigger than music. It don not have anything to do, I feel like, with the music. This is like. This is more on what's been going on all these years what we, what we were promised and what we didn't get, what, what is just a lot, you know, and I feel like people don't understand where Kendrick is coming from. But then some people they do understand, understand, but they don't want to understand and that's what is messed up. You know, it kind of messes with me because it's like if y'all actually go back and look at what our ancestors and what everybody has been through and what they were promised in and what didn't happen, and start from scratch and like know what's going on and all that type of stuff, like you, you would understand, you will be able to see and understand why he feels the way he feels and why a lot of people feel the way they feel. Like come on now, like just do your research, know your history and just it's a big thing. It's a big thing. That's all I'm going to say. So, man, y'all, it's just, it's a lot as the Super Bowl I don't cover nobody's say.

DJ KORNBRED:

I've been telling people this is planned. This shit was planned. They already knew the Eagles was going to win. I knew the Eagles was going to win at the beginning. I knew it. I knew it. I told my son he was like my free is on the game. They said they want to bet. They want to bet. I was like, all right, let's bet a couple hundred dollars. But he's like I don't know, they ain't going back. They ain't going. Yeah, of course they not, because we're going with the same team.

DJ KORNBRED:

If y'all go back and do y'all history and like actually not history, you just go back and look at certain people that even people and play basketball in the industry period, that's what I call it. So they will tell you A lot of this stuff is planned out. A lot of these injuries are planned out, a lot of this everything. And I don't know if I should say this is for entertainment purposes only, but even though it came out of these mouths of these players, this stuff is planned and they done. Told them before when you get signed, you going to end up messing your ACL up this time, this time this year, around this date, you going to end up having to, you know, stop playing this, this and that it just they say all this stuff is made up, super Bowl period is made up. It's not real, like, and people sit here and be, they make all this money off of doing all this stuff. They have to do with the NFL and y'all still think it's real. That's what get me, like everybody. They still think it's real, like I can have a big argument with somebody and they can sit there and tell me here you go. No, they don't hear you go. Like it's real, that's real spill. Like all this stuff is playing. Like they put all this stuff is planned. Like they put all this stuff together and they planned all this shit.

DJ KORNBRED:

They knew the Chiefs the last couple years. She was gonna win. That shit was all planned. They knew my mom was gonna take it. They knew that. But this year they was like ah, shit, we gotta switch it up this and this and that. I feel like they was like baby, hey, we gotta switch this one up. 2025 gonna be a different year. You know what I'm saying? Like it's gonna be different. Like they gonna win, we're gonna have to let the eagles take this one and everybody gonna be like oh, okay, yeah, yeah, because I was starting to think that shit was fake. It gotta be, they gotta be planning that shit. So of course they gotta throw y'all off me like we're gonna let the eagles win.

DJ KORNBRED:

And then they got skunked too. Like everybody. Nobody thought that, so nobody knew, nobody felt like they was gonna get skunked like. They got skunked like, if anything, an extra touchdown or an interception right at the end for the last minute or a couple, whatever, whatever seconds, something crazy. That just was like what you know, but just for them.

DJ KORNBRED:

Yeah, chiefs fans was pissed the fuck out. I knew it. I knew it. I know they had to be pissed off, but I know they mad as a bitch they have. They're not having conversations like, hold up, man, what the fuck, what the fuck is going on Like, oh, we know we knew this shit was playing, but damn, like I know they, they sitting there taking that shit on like damn man, I'm, I'm this shit, fuck me up, fuck me up. Like I feel we gotta sit here and watch these niggas where I'll ring like no, they got it, let them have it, let the Eagles have it. They was acting a fool out there like lit I'm talking about Eagles fans was lit. Every video I done seen on TikTok, anywhere on social media, instagram, anywhere they have been lit. I'm talking about still, to this day, lit. I'm talking about they still having fucking parties. They having parties for the Super Bowl, talking about, oh, super Bowl, we have a Super Bowl party. Super Bowl is over. Eagles fans are still lit. Y'all got them fucked up. They going to be lit all year, all 2025, eagles going to be lit.

DJ KORNBRED:

You got them talking about they gonna be wearing that shit proudly, walking idiot everywhere, having that shit on. That shit gonna be on on. They gonna be spiffy. You can't tell them shit. But like I mean, I just feel like that shit is all is all planned. Like I don't feel like they I know they be sitting there really playing, playing their heart out and all that type of stuff, but I know I feel like it really playing and playing their heart out and all that type of stuff. But I know I feel like it's yeah, that shit is all set up. They know who gonna win. Of course they're really playing football, but some of that shit I know they be I feel like they be holding back Some of the plays and some of the touchdowns and some of the shit they know they can catch, or do?

DJ KORNBRED:

I feel like they be holding that shit back because they know, oh damn, we can't do too much or I ain't supposed to get so many yards, or this, this net, all that shit. They know they ain't supposed to do all that, so they try not to do too much. So they hold back a lot of shit, so it won't, you know, be too bad. Or they know they, okay, well, we're gonna take this, take you out, substitute this player for this player, because you're getting close to the number, or this is neck in the amount of yards. Okay, we're gonna have to switch this up right here.

DJ KORNBRED:

And I know sometimes they be in the game like, damn man, I want to just tear this nigga up, I want to knock this nigga, I want to knock him out and do this, this net, but per your contract, you can't do that boy, you can't do it. You can't do it. No, no, no, no, no. You can't do it. You can't do it. No, no, no, no, no. You can't do it. You have to go off of what they told you, master. Nah, I'm playing, not master, but you know what I'm saying. Like, yeah, I don't know that shit to me, I feel like that shit was playing. It's always playing, and that ain't even Super Bowl, not even just Super Bowl. I'm talking about every game for football, basketball. All that shit is playing. They know exactly how that shit gonna go, who gonna win what, who gonna be MVP. They know all that. All that shit is playing.

DJ KORNBRED:

They've been doing this shit from the get-go. Same thing as the lottery. We ain't even gonna get on that, but the same thing. They be knowing what the fuck gonna happen before it even happen. They just be wanting y'all to think or be sitting on the outside looking like boo-boo the food, like damn, these niggas better come with it. Me and man want you to get hectic. Start betting. They want to make money for these sick kids. It's just a big-ass cycle. That's how they make their money. Same thing baseball, all that shit. All that shit is planned and that's how they get their money. And that's how they get their money and that's how they get their shit.

DJ KORNBRED:

And they know that y'all gonna be lit to the fullest and y'all gonna spend that motherfucking cash on their ass just to make sure this shit go and it go how you want it to go and y'all get to see what y'all want to see, rather just in person or on tv. They know everybody gonna have these parties. Y'all gonna spend this money. Everywhere gonna be packed because everybody don't want to do it in their house. A dog can't watch it in their house or can't do whatever. Whatever they want to go out, wherever people at get lit, dress up, all the places be you be packed. They know everybody gonna make money some kind of way. Everybody gonna make money. So I don't know, you just gotta.

DJ KORNBRED:

I just sit back and I just look at everything they got to do with the nfl and football. I mean, uh, nfl, basketball and even track and all that type of shit. It's just like damn, back then, especially being an athlete, back then you'd be excited to see that type of stuff and to watch it and like, oh my god. Then you get pissed off when certain people don't win or certain shit don't happen. But then when that shit don't happen, then it's like this point, you really okay with it. You okay with it not working. You okay with it not working and not happening. Because shit, at this point you like shit. I'm cool because I already know that shit. Bro, but at the beginning let me be playing something. Let me be playing some shit or playing a sport or something.

DJ KORNBRED:

The shit don't happen how I wanted to happen. I'm pissed the fuck off like I'm mad. Mad because you know, when you especially when you a person that plays sports and shit don't happen like you want to happen, you get pissed off right track, golf, baseball, basketball, football, shit, hockey, I don't care what the fuck it is, wrestling. If you're a person that did all that, then you watching these shows and watching these different events and then back then you like damn shit, I want to do that shit, I want to do that shit, I want to do that shit, but then, not knowing that, if you make it, make it to the point where you big, big and all this money, money, money, millions of dollars and all that, it's some fake shit. That's going to happen.

DJ KORNBRED:

You got to know, once you step over that boundary, shit going to be different. Shit ain't going to be the same. You hear me, it ain't gonna be the same. You hear me, it ain't gonna be the same. It's gonna be some other shit going on and all that shit man like shit is not gonna be the same. Everything is gonna be different. You're gonna be going from getting this kind of money to that kind of money, and then there's some sacrifices that you gotta make if you decide to get that type of money.

DJ KORNBRED:

So I don't know, it's like I said, when you think of that shit when you get older, it makes you think like twice, three times, four times, like you constantly think about this shit, like nah, nah, I'm glad I stayed where I was at, I'm glad I didn't decide to take it that far, because these motherfuckers is tripping, they tripping the fuck out like nah, that shit ain't that fucking serious. But I, I man, I want to hear from y'all, though. So y'all hit me up on wwwfashishowthepodcastcom or hit me up on my inbox on TikTok DJCornbread17, dj Empress on TikTok and inbox me. Let me know what y'all feel like on the Kendrick Lamar show and how y'all feel about the Super Bowl, because I mean, I don't know.

DJ KORNBRED:

I honestly feel like, yeah, it was the whole. It shouldn't have been. No, these people jumping on here talking about Kendrick Lamar, this Kendrick Lamar, that shit was trash, and I don't think he actually was looking to entertain everyone, and everybody is looking at it like well, shit, it was a fucking entertain. He's like the halftime show. He supposed to entertain us. That's what he's supposed to do. I mean, to me it was kind of entertaining because the way he presented the show and it wasn't just a whack ass, just like a boring ass, you know, walking on stage, rapping, dancing, nobody was twerking, all that type of shit it was different. Usually that's what you see at these shows and events, like you see people doing the same, oh shit. Artists doing the same, oh shit.

DJ KORNBRED:

And I feel like kendrick, when he came out, he did his, he did his best shit. He brought it because, like I said, not even just bringing in, speaking a story, telling a story or whatever have you want to look at it from the performance, I feel like he just did his best shit, because it's like it's true, like we were promised certain things and we didn't get those certain things, so it's just like damn. And then when you look at what's going on right now in the world and what we already have been through, it's just like damn, like it's a lot. So if you are not a person that understands that I want to understand it or care to, or for understanding this it's like to you you're not really going to give a damn, you're not going to care. You know what he was trying to do, what message he was trying to tell, what he was trying to get. You're not going to care about all that. All you care about is all I know is when his mother, when his ass came out, I wasn't screaming and yelling since after my lung, which I feel like is another fucking lie, also with the whole kind of snack thing. That's not how. I'm probably fucking your last name up, but I feel like I understand.

DJ KORNBRED:

You were there at the show and you said that nobody, it didn't sound how it sounded. You said that it was low, everybody was quiet and shit when kendrick lamar was performing. I feel like that was a lie. I wasn't even there and I feel like there was a lie. I wasn't even there and I feel like that was a lie.

DJ KORNBRED:

Reason being is because who the fuck does not like they not like us, they not like us, they not like us? Like who doesn't like that? Like? I hear all races singing that song, not just black people. Mexicans are singing the song, puerto Rican, whatever, I don't know. White people sing it, everybody sing it. Asian people sing it, the, everybody sing african. Everybody sings this song, like, whatever race I miss you singing too. Everybody sings this song. So I just don't feel like, with that song and then even all the other songs that he chose to perform, like he, certain people were saying peekaboo or I forgot which other um, the other song or whatever that he performed, they're saying that, oh well, that song that was just super quiet. I didn't even like that. I don't even know why he performed that. He should have picked another song. I mean the reason being, like I said, when you go back to it and you look at certain scenes and sets of the show, the way that he was performing and the way that the choreography and everything, how all that was put together. It was put together like that and the songs were chosen for a reason. Like everybody said, he was sending a message and he was stating a message. If you watch it again, watch it again, go on YouTube, type it in somewhere and go watch it again, go on there and watch the show again, watch the show again and then, when you look at the show, look at another highlight or something like that, of all the different type of choreography and the different types of, you know, words and stuff in the background and things like that. Go look at that and then just compare that shit and then go back and do your research and history on certain things and then you'll understand more. That's that's what I feel. I feel like that will help a lot of people understand the performance.

DJ KORNBRED:

Also, with him performing in the x, like they were saying the whole reason for him performing in the x, they said the ring got something, the whole thing about drake having something to do with xx death. You know, and I didn't even know that part. Like I actually looked up on that after the fact and I seen somebody say an influencer put that up on TikTok and I didn't even know that. I didn't know, I didn't get that part. As far as the ex at first. But then when I saw and I heard, seen the video of this TikToker, I was like, oh, that's what the whole meaning of him performing in the ex was, meaning of him performing in the x was. So, like I said, if you go do your research and just look at a lot of different shit of the show on the show and stuff like that and how that shit work, you understand like why, why he did certain certain shit.

DJ KORNBRED:

Same thing with serena coming out there. You know she was not able to do that dance previously back in the day at another, you know a whole another situation. So like some people was like what was the whole fucking point of her coming out and doing a walk to, uh, the song? Uh, to that song. They like, they, not like us. Then some people they understood they were like, oh, because serena used to talk to drake and he always dropping bombs on her, his songs and shit like that. Yeah, that too. But the point of her it wasn't even just really that like he probably was trying to get back and have a serena on there because the shit that he done did serena back in the day or the certain little, some you know little shit. He always got something to throw it in his song. So a couple you know songs and shit.

DJ KORNBRED:

But a lot of that had to do with what happened to serena back in the day for her doing that exact dance. So some people don't know that shit either. So they were just like what the fuck was the point of them showing her doing the dance, see, walking or whatever? And it's just like, if you don't know, you don't know, don't, just fucking sit there and say I don't like this shit, I don't like this show because it was trash. We wasn't lit, everybody wasn't up, dancing, twerking and shit like what you see other motherfuckers do all the time every super bowl. Nobody want to see that shit all the time.

DJ KORNBRED:

So when kendrick stepped out on the stage and he started off, he was on the, on the car or whatever, and people like, oh, this isn't that, this isn't that. No, now, he's choreographer choreographed that shit, how he had that shit going, how he set it up. He's a fucking genius and he knew what the fuck he was doing. And I think, kendrick, you did a great job. So you kudos to you. You did a great job.

DJ KORNBRED:

I don't care what nobody say. Like I said, I'm, I'm not and I like. Like I said, I like kendrick lamar and I like drek, so I'm not even talking about it. For the whole like beefing situation that they got going on, I just honestly feel like for that, for the show, I think he did an amazing job. So if you feel different, then that's just your opinion. But, like I said, I feel like he did an amazing job. But it don't matter because, like I said, we can go, everybody can go back and forth, back and forth, on how they feel with this whole situation.

DJ KORNBRED:

I honestly just feel like a lot of people saying they don't like kendrick performance, they didn't like it, it was trash, because they're drake fans and they don't fuck with kendrick lamar. You know, I don't think it's uh, it's actually he. They feel like he really did bad. They're just doing that because they're oh, I fuck with drake, I don't fuck with him. So we not we gonna say his performance trash, we ain't like his shit, his shit was trash. No, that that's not what it is like.

DJ KORNBRED:

I feel like, if you don't, rather, you like drake or kendrick, whatever, just as the performance and seeing how he did it and choreographed it and how it was done and like it was just, you know, just amazing. So I just feel like everybody should go off of that and I just go off of oh well, they beefing right now. So I'm on this side, I'm on this side now you just actually look at the show and go back and watch it for yourself and not going out for other people's opinions and say, oh yeah, I don't like it because my friend don't like it, or I was at their party and they Super Bowl party. Everybody was saying they was trash or everybody liked it. So I'm gonna like it.

DJ KORNBRED:

Go watch it for yourself, alone, by yourself, and watch it from the beginning to the end, and then go read up on your history, if that's what you need to do, and then you'll understand more, and I honestly feel like that'll be the best way for people to understand exactly how the show went, instead of just saying it was trash and going all the crown. They ain't like this shit and all that type of stuff. Do your own research. But I got to get out of here. Y'all already know what it is. Shit Show the Podcast.
